Auditor Transition – 1-Year Contract (Possible Extension)

Investment Minds Luxembourg (IMLux) is recruiting on behalf of our client for an Auditor Transition Support Luxembourg role. This position is ideal for a finance professional with experience in audit, fund accounting, or asset-management operations who wants to contribute to a major audit transition project in a large international environment.
About the Auditor Transition Support Role
As an Auditor Transition Support Luxembourg specialist, you will assist with the end-to-end transition between audit providers. You will play a central coordination role, support project planning, prepare documentation, and act as a key point of contact between internal teams and external auditors.
Key Responsibilities – Auditor Transition Support Luxembourg
Project Coordination & Documentation

Support the full fund auditor transition project, ensuring alignment with timelines.

Prepare required documentation, reports, summaries, and follow-up materials.

Assist in the implementation of digital audit tools and improved audit workflows.
Stakeholder Communication

Schedule and coordinate meetings with internal teams, external providers, fund boards, and regulatory bodies.

Maintain clear and professional communication with all stakeholders involved in the audit transition.

Provide ongoing project updates and keep parties aligned with the transition roadmap.
Operational Oversight

Track the progress of the transition for all funds covered by the project.

Maintain oversight documentation and ensure all steps follow the agreed timetable.

Prepare PowerPoint presentations and project plans for regular steering meetings.
Required Skills & Profile
-
5+ years of experience in audit, fund accounting, asset management, or project management.

Strong understanding of asset-management processes, regulatory reporting, and audit requirements.

Experience working independently, with the ability to think proactively and solve problems.

Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

High attention to detail, analytical mindset, strong numerical skills.

Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office tools.

Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or similar.

Fluency in English and German – mandatory; French/Italian are assets.
