IMLux is hiring on behalf of our client, a leading law firm in Luxembourg, seeking a Senior Fund Lawyer to join their investment funds team. This role is ideal for an experienced legal professional looking to work on complex investment fund structuring, regulatory matters, and high-profile client advisory.

Senior Fund Lawyer – Key Responsibilities

Investment Fund Structuring & Compliance

• Lead the setup and structuring of investment funds, ensuring compliance with Luxembourg laws.
• Oversee investor due diligence, including legal document review and agreement negotiations.
• Advise on AIFM, Depositary, and MiFID firm registration and regulatory requirements.

Legal Advisory & Client Management

• Provide legal counsel on fund law, regulations, and compliance strategies.
• Draft legal opinions and support clients in navigating Luxembourg investment fund laws.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with fund managers and financial institutions.

Leadership & Team Development

• Mentor junior associates, helping them develop expertise in fund law and compliance.
• Contribute to the firm’s legal innovation and efficiency strategies.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and advise clients on best practices in the investment fund sector.

Your Profile – Senior Fund Lawyer

Bar Admission: Registered with the Luxembourg Bar or another EU Bar.
Experience: Minimum 5 years PQE in fund law and investment fund regulations.
Regulatory Expertise: Strong knowledge of fund structuring, CSSF compliance, and legal frameworks.
Project Management: Ability to lead fund setups and regulatory filings.
Languages: Fluency in English and French is required; German is a plus.
Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in a fast-paced legal environment.
