Reporting to: Depositary Manager

IMLux is hiring a Senior Depositary Analyst on behalf of our client, a well-established financial services firm in Luxembourg. This role is a great opportunity for professionals with a strong background in depositary, fund administration, or audit who want to grow in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Your Responsibilities:

Depositary Operations & Compliance

• Oversee cash flow monitoring, ensuring all transactions align with regulatory and procedural requirements.
• Manage the safekeeping of fund assets, verifying ownership through custody processes.
• Conduct post-transaction controls and oversight to ensure the proper operation of the fund platform.
• Monitor depositary activities to comply with legal and regulatory requirements, working closely with senior management.

Process Improvement & Client Interaction

• Contribute to refining and enhancing operating procedures related to depositary services.
• Act as a point of escalation for internal and external queries, ensuring efficient issue resolution.
• Assist with client onboarding, billing, and KPI reporting, including presenting findings in board meetings.
• Supervise and support junior staff training and development to enhance team capabilities.

Risk & Quality Control

• Perform four-eyes reviews on depositary matters, ensuring compliance with company policies and professional standards.
• Implement risk-sensitive solutions to support regulatory compliance and business needs.
• Maintain strong knowledge of EU and domestic financial regulations, ensuring proactive compliance measures.

Your Profile:

✔ Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
✔ Experience: 2–4 years in Depositary, Fund Administration, or Audit.
✔ Languages: Fluent English is required; German or another EU language is a plus.
✔ Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with financial regulations, accounting principles, and risk management.
✔ Professional Qualifications: ACCA, OEC, DSCG, or ACA certifications are a plus.
✔ Skills: Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills.
✔ Leadership: Experience supervising at least one team member and managing client relationships.
