Our client, a leading global investment firm specializing in alternative investments, is seeking a Senior Officer – Transfer Agency to join its growing team in Luxembourg. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a background in AML, transfer agency, and investor services to develop their career in a dynamic and international work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- AML & Tax Due Diligence: Manage AML and tax due diligence processes for new investor onboarding.
- Ongoing Compliance Monitoring: Conduct AML screening and continuous monitoring of investors.
- Investor Registry Management: Maintain investor records in the CRM system, oversee fund registers, and process transfers/conversions.
- Investor Communications: Issue acceptance notices, capital call and distribution notices, and investor reports (capital account statements, quarterly reports, financial statements).
- Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and submit FATCA/CRS reports in compliance with regulations.
- Record Keeping & Procedures: Maintain accurate records and update operational manuals for transfer agency and AML procedures.
Requirements
- Educational Background: University degree in Business, Law, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an AML or transfer agency role within financial services.
- AML/CFT Knowledge: Strong understanding of AML and compliance regulations.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required; German is a strong advantage.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM systems and investor record management.
- Soft Skills: Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
