Position Overview

We are searching for an experienced Senior Corporate Accountant to join a prestigious firm in Luxembourg. This role offers an opportunity to apply your expertise in managing financial operations for fund companies, SPVs, trusts, and holding structures. Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: You will prepare and review financial statements in accordance with Luxembourg GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant standards.
• SPVs and Trusts Management: Oversee accounting processes for Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), trusts, and holding companies, ensuring both accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Consolidation: Manage the consolidation of financial statements for multiple entities.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, including VAT and corporate tax filings.
• Audits: Coordinate with external auditors to complete audits accurately and on time.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about regulatory changes and ensure financial operations comply with them.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance the efficiency of financial reporting.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with legal, compliance, and investment teams to ensure alignment with business goals.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, ACA, or CPA are highly preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate accounting role in Luxembourg, with expertise in SPVs, trusts, and holding structures is essential.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, with a strong knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP, IFRS, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are crucial for this role.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting financial data clearly to various stakeholders.
