We are currently recruiting for an experienced IT Administrator on behalf of a prominent firm based in Luxembourg. Position Overview

The IT Administrator will be a key player in managing the IT infrastructure for the company’s Luxembourg office, ensuring seamless operations across its locations in Luxembourg, Poland, and France. The role involves network management, user support, data security, and participation in IT projects that drive efficiency and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Network & Systems Management:
    • Manage local network infrastructure, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity across all office locations.
    • Perform regular system monitoring, updates, and troubleshooting to maintain performance and integrity.
  • User Support & Training:
    • Provide IT support to users in the Luxembourg office, addressing technical issues and assisting with onboarding processes.
    • Create user guides and conduct training sessions to improve system usage and knowledge.
  • Data & System Security:
    • Enforce IT security policies and practices to protect sensitive company data.
    • Conduct regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Hardware & Software Management:
    • Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software, including managing inventory and procurement.
    • Collaborate with IT teams across other locations to standardize IT systems and processes.
  • IT Project Support:
    • Assist in planning and executing IT projects such as infrastructure upgrades and new system implementations.
    • Coordinate with external vendors for support and project implementation.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT procedures and configurations.
    • Report system performance and project updates to the Head of IT.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT administration, ideally in a multi-location or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems, network administration, and virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Proficiency in security practices, including managing firewalls, anti-virus software, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
  • Fluent in French and English; knowledge of Polish or German is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting IT infrastructure in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Knowledge of data protection regulations, especially related to the EU (GDPR).
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, MCITP, or CCNA.
